The IS 350 C is special enough in its own right, but now Lexus offers the IS 350 C F-Sport Special Edition, a limited run of just 175 cars that adds an entire range of F-Sport performance accessories for a truly exclusive experience.
The IS 350 C F-Sport Special Edition (MSRP $55,120) starts with the performance you’d expect from such a special car: At its heart is a 3.5-liter dual overhead cam V6 with Variable Vavle Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), capable of 306hp at 6,400 rpm. The six-speed automatic transmission features steering wheel mounted paddle shifters for more spirited driving adventures.
Where the IS 350 C F-Sport Special Edition diverges from the IS 350 C is in the awe-inspiring list of unique features included as part of this special build. Nineteen-inch F-Sport Full-Face Forged Alloy Wheels with unique finish are shod with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Tires.
The IS 350 C F-Sport’s front suspension is also upgraded with front and rear performance shocks developed in cooperation with Bilstein®. Lowering springs reduce ride height by one inch front and rear, resulting in a more aggressive appearance and lower center of gravity. The sway bar kit included in this special build reduces body roll and provides flatter cornering.
Exterior modifications continue with an exclusive F-Sport badge. This special edition is only available in two colors: Obsidian or Starfire Pearl. Drivers will see further down the road thanks to Bi-Xenon High Intensity Headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights.
Inside, the equipment and features unique to the IS 350 C F-Sport Special Edition continue with black and red seats in semi-aniline leather trim, with red contrasting stitching. Premium interior amenities include heated and ventilated front seats, wood interior trim and a Lexus Navigation System. The hard disk drive (HDD) Lexus Navigation System has a seven-inch VGA touch-screen, Bluetooth® phone book download capabilities, Voice Command casual language voice recognition, XM® NavTraffic, XM® NavWeather, and XM® Sports and Stocks. The screen also comprises the Lexus Enform™ telematics system with Safety Connect™, with 24-hour Destination Assist, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, an Emergency Assist button, Stolen Vehicle Notification and Automatic Collision Notification.
F-Sport floor mats protect the carpet, and a Special Build interior badge indicates that this is just one of a select number of cars.
