Success Comes From Listening Not Selling

Laura had a successful career as a Sales & Marketing Executive spanning 25 years, working for companies such as: JCrew, Disney and even a few well known Network Marketing companies including Shaklee.

She was financially and professionally successful. As a wife and mother to 4 children, she felt in conflict with work and family. Sacrificing quality time with family, as she worked to provide for them became the norm. Work became her life and her family had what little, if any, was left over.

She was first introduced to the business by a colleague who invited her to an event.

The business looked interesting but she couldn't see herself walking away from a 6 figure career level income and didn’t quite have the courage to try.

After experiencing a transformational shape change and weight loss on Shaklee products, her friends and family began asking “what are you doing?”

It was at that moment that she realized, “I CAN have my own business, I CAN do this”. And she made the choice “I will do this with Shaklee”

Within her first year of leaving corporate America she personally recruited 105.

By the second year her team was 6,550 strong

And the third year 8,725

and fourth year 87,133

producing over $540,000/month in sales in Shaklee

She quickly learned that success comes not from selling but from listening. She developed a culture of caring and celebrating.  One of her favorite quotes is “People do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care” Theodore Roosevelt.

Life now includes all the things she used to miss out on, such as first days of school, field trips, graduations, birthdays, holidays and tax benefits of owning her own business. And living where she and husband want to live, which is on an island in Charleston, SC.

As her business grew and she replaced her full-time income with her new business, her focus shifted to becoming a 6 figure giver. And she helps others achieve their health goals and plan for their financial future.
