The Houston Chronicle reported today that the Veterans Administration has agreed “ ‘…not to ban, regulate or otherwise interfere with prayers, recitations, or words of religious expression absent family objection’ and to allow veterans' families to hold services with any religious or secular content they desire.”

There is no mention in the story or the preliminary agreement of director Arleen Ocasio’s status, however Liberty Institute did confirm that Ms. Ocasio was NOT acting as a “rogue agent” in entirety but was actually carrying out VA policies that most other directors had just quietly ignored.

The ongoing threats against public expression of the Christian faith require not only our diligence but our active participation.  We cannot be silenced if we will not be silenced.
