Pastors' Declaration on Border Security and Immigration Reform
Pastor urged to speak out and sign on to bring Biblical balance to this critical issue!

Dear Texas Pastors:

I am sending this message with a request for you to join me and the other drafters and initial signers below as a signer of the Pastors' Declaration on Border Security and Immigration Reform. This Declaration was prayerfully crafted by a group of leading Houston area pastors coordinated by Houston Area Pastor Council and speaks to three key areas of immigration that urgently need to be addressed:

·         Securing our borders

·         Reforming our immigration system

·         Implementing a just process to legal status for specified illegal immigrants

If you believe that a Biblically-balanced solution is vital and voices of Biblically minded pastors are greatly needed, please request a copy (sent as a PDF file via email) of the declaration, and then sign up as soon as possible as a supporter of this Declaration.

You can send your copy request and to sign up as a supporter by sending an e-mail to info@uspastorcouncil.org.  In the “sign on” e-mail tell the Texas Pastors Council you support this Declaration and give your name, church, position, and city (e.g., John Doe, Senior Pastor, First Church, Humble).

TXPC will be holding a press conference in Houston and possibly other cities shortly to announce the Declaration, and we want three hundred pastors/ministers signed up before the press conference…you can be part of the 300 initial supporters.

Thanks for your prompt action!

Steve Riggle

Senior Pastor, Grace Community Church, Houston

President , Grace International Churches and Ministries

P.S. A website will be up soon at www.immigrationdeclaration.org for pastors and supporters to sign on and for more information about the principles in the declaration – keep checking in there and let other pastors know as well!
