Urgent Action Needed on ANTICHRIST Movie!
http://www.movieguide.org/box-office/7/10015/antic...
by Ted Baehr

We’re grieved to tell you about one of the most vile movies of all time which is set to hit theaters next week.  If we even put the poster in this e-mail, you would be disgusted.  But, with your help we can make a significant difference in stopping its impact.

Please sign the petition by clicking here to get this movie rated NC-17, which will limit it’s distribution.

Here’s why a NC-17 rating is so critical:

·      An R rated movie easily makes its way to the cinema in your local neighborhood.  Thankfully, many local cinemas still won’t show the movie if it’s NC-17.

·      An R rated movie stands a chance to make more money than NC-17 and this will only encourage some producers in Hollywood to make more vile movies like this.

·      And most importantly, children under 17 cannot get into movies with an NC-17 rating, unlike R rated movies, which admit them.

Currently the movie has elected to be “Not Rated” which will allow ANYONE OF ANY AGE TO VIEW THIS HORRIFIC, WICKED MOVIE.

The movie not only includes deliberately explicit and pornographic sex scenes, it also contains graphic close-ups of sexual mutilation and murderous, accidental violence, including the death of a baby.

A woman is portrayed as the antichrist in this film.  The main female character in the movie takes a two by four to her husband’s private parts. And then dills his leg to a milestone while doing other acts of mutilation.  This is not the kind of thing we want our children to observe.

The movie is designed not only to shock and titillate the audience.  It is also designed to contain symbols, metaphors and other content referring to Christian, biblical themes.

We must act now, TODAY, since the movie is coming out next week.  Please stand with us and others who care about how movies affect our kids.  Click here and sign the petition.

Please forward this petition to everyone in your address book who cares about protecting the eyes and minds of children (as well as adults!).

The Roe v. Wade of marriage?
http://www.wnd.com/index.php/?pageId=43&authorId=2...
by Dave Welch, USPC Executive Director

October 6, 2009

With all deference to my adopted home state of Texas, it is about time we stopped the legal, cultural and political trail of tears flowing from here that has poisoned our nation over the last 40 years.

1963, 1973, 2003. Three years, three world-changing tragedies that occurred in Texas. It's 2009 and we may have a fourth pending.

Most people can quickly recite the first two – the '63 event being the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, which altered the world political landscape forever. The second was of course Roe v. Wade, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Dallas and overturned all state laws restricting abortion, resulting in 50 million dead and counting.

The third, nearly as destructive but not as widely known, was Lawrence v. Texas and originated in Houston, effectively nullifying any remaining state laws prohibiting sodomy as well as laying the legal groundwork for same-sex marriage.

The latest Dallas incident occurred last week when Democrat state civil court Judge Tena Callahan granted a "divorce" to a same-sex couple and declared Texas' constitutional definition of marriage as only between one man and one woman unconstitutional under federal equal-protection precedents. By the way, anyone who thinks that this couple married in Massachusetts, moved to Texas and filed for a divorce in this Dallas court by coincidence should stay away from any presentations on free land in Florida...

10 Reasons Why Pastors Avoid the Culture War
http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/dgiles/2009/10/1...
by Doug Giles

As far as I’m concerned, a silent or waffling pastor in today’s paranormal climate is unnecessary. I don’t care how much the minister likes kitty cats, candy canes, and if he cries at Celine Dion concerts. Look, Voiceless Vicar, if you’re not currently in the middle of this crucial cultural squabble, pointing out what’s putrid and cheering on what’s proper, then you’re Dr. Evil in my book.

Given that the culture-dividing issues, thanks to Obama, are more obvious than Joan Rivers’ last lip implants, it is mind-boggling to me that many ministers are mute or side with parties, policies and principles that are antithetical to the Judeo-Christian worldview. I don’t know if you got this memo in seminary but pastors are not only supposed to salvage souls but also build the good society.

In some kind of ascending order, it seems to me there are 10 reasons why pastors and priests avoid political and intense cultural issues and thus aid and abet evil:

1. Fear of Man: If you purport to be a man of God then your regard for God and His opinion must trump the trepidation of the creature God created from spit and mud. Come on, man of God, don’t fear the crowd . . . we’re peons with cell phones who’ll shoot Botox into our foreheads. We’re weird and fickle weather vanes of what’s en vogue. You’ve got to lead us. Therefore, move into the Moses mode and command us to be and do what is holy, just and good. The grinning, mild, subtle Oprah approach doesn’t seem to be stemming the current flood of cultural filth.

2. Ignorance: Most people are not bold in areas in which they are ignorant . . . always excepting Janeane Garofalo, of course. I know keeping up with all the pressing political issues is maddening, but that’s life, brother, and if you want to be a voice in society and not just an echo, you have got to be in the know. Staying briefed is par for the course for the hardy world changer...
