Thank you to the thousands of readers who participated in our online poll regarding the cover of the book Nonprofit Guide To Going Green scheduled for release by John Wiley and Sons.

We are pleased to announce the outcome of those votes and comments helped us select the title and design of the book.

EXCITING NEWS: This book will be printed on acid-free paper made from 100% post-consumer recycled pulp with soy ink! This is the very first nonprofit title "green printed" by John Wiley and Sons. Ever!

The book will release on December 14, 2009.

First Certified GreenNonprofit Named

The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties has been named the first nonprofit to be certified by GreenNonprofits.org, the new gold standard for nonprofits seeking to “go green” while making a difference. The work of the foundation will be featured in the Nonprofit Guide To Going Green: The GreenNonprofits Handbook, to be released by John Wiley & Sons Publishing on December 14, 2009.

All charities are encouraged to now become GreenNonprofit certified.

Established by a team of leaders in the field of nonprofits, GreenNonprofits is the global leader in promoting, educating and certifying charities wishing to become more green.
