Featured Item: New Mission

Mission furniture originated at the turn of the century, and continues to be a very popular choice today among home owners and home decorators. The simple, sturdy lines of Mission furniture make it at home in a number of settings. It doesn't matter if your home is done in country, contemporary, or southwestern, there is sure to be a mission piece that will work for you. In an effort to accomodate the growing demand for more mission style furniture, we at The Granary have found another builder who meets our high standard of quality. Builder 141 incorporates Permanent Framery in the construction of his pieces. This means the sides and front of each piece is connected with a joint at the corner. In addition he incorporates dove tailed drawers on his pieces. Each drawer is lined with a cedar bottom and stabilized with a solid maple center guide. Builder 141 build each piece to last a lifetime. There are a variety of pieces available from builder 141 such as drawer chest, benches, rockers and chairs, all manner of occasional tables, desks, bookcases and more. Each piece is available in a variety of solid woods including regular and quartersawn oak. If you are in the market for Mission furniture, stop out today and look at what Builder 141 and The Granary has to offer!
