"Abe, I've been to Amish country several times and have often heard people talk about Ascension Day. Could you please tell me what Ascension Day is?"
That's a great question, and one that I would be more than happy to answer. Ascension day takes place forty days after Easter. It remembers the ascension of Jesus into heaven following his crucifixtion and resurrection. During those forty days Jesus preached and intermingled with his apostles and disciples. I hope this has answered your question.
