This St. Patricks Day, put a spin on the traditional Easter egg hunt. Why not have a leprechaun hunt? Kids love scavenger hunts of any kind, and its a great way to get them some exercise outdoors. Instead of hiding eggs for your children to find, hide leprechauns. Your leprechauns can consist of construction paper cut-outs or any creative idea you come up with. For an extra bit of surprise, tape shiny pennies, dimes, and quarters to the backs of your leprechauns. It doesn't take much of an investment to entertain your children. Parents will get enjoyment out of watching the kids and helping the little ones. Who knows, maybe you'll even start a new spring holiday tradition.
