TMEIC GE Medium Voltage School scheduled for October
The next Medium Voltage School will be held in Salem, Virginia, October 20 to 23, 2009. This innovative Medium Voltage Systems School will be presented by MV application engineers, all with more than 30 years of experience in drive systems applications in a wide variety of industries.
The 3 ½ day TMEIC GE MV Systems School will provide in-depth, unbranded technical information for customers who are responsible for selecting and specifying medium voltage drive systems for their companies. In addition to classroom presentations, attendees are encouraged to bring their own real-world application issues for group discussion. Twenty five (25) Professional Development Hours (PDH) are available for those interested in applying their participation to maintaining their professional accreditation.
“It’s our goal to share our engineering expertise with customers both for TMEIC GE drives as well as other companies, to offer challenging, productive sessions for those who attend,” says Joseph Belch, Manager, TMEIC GE General Industries Division. “These schools have proven to be very popular with engineers and technicians who make critical choices on the design and selection criteria of their systems.”
Classes will be taught by TMEIC GE and GE application engineers who bring more than 200 years of combined industry experience to the classroom. Industry and equipment experts will also cover topics such as motors, switchgear, protective relays, and related power system equipment.
Tuition is free to qualified attendees; however, space is limited. For more information, contact Sue Porterfield at 540-283-2004, email sue.porterfield@tmeic-ge.com.
