The concept of Air Dried Tissue
Machines is relatively new in the tissue industry and promises substantial
savings both in energy consumption and in mechanical design by eliminating
conventional Yankee or Through-Air-Dryer (TAD) sections. In an ADT tissue
machine the sheet is dried via electric heat dryers. The control of an ADT
machine is similar to traditional tissue machines, but the differences include
