GE Fanuc is pleased to announce the release of VersaPro Version 2.03. This maintenance release of VersaPro provides support for new VersaMax Nano/Micro modules and support  for  the  new high speed Series 90-30 PLC CPU - IC693CPU374.

Products Affected

VersaPro Version 2.03 is available for all VersaPro products : Remote I/O Manager, Nano/Micro Edition, Standard Edition, and Professional Edition. These products provide PLC and Remote I/O support as follows :

Write All Items to PLC Flash After Download to PLC Option Folder contents can now be stored to PLC Flash memory as a part of the Store Folder to PLC process. The Store Folder to PLC dialog contains a new option to store Program Logic, Hardware Configuration, and Stored Values to PLC Flash memory after a successful Store Folder to PLC operation. This new checkbox will be enabled for all PLCs that support Flash memory.

1200 and 2400 Data Rates for VersaMax CPU Serial I/O Port Modes: All VersaMax CPUs (CPU001/002/005/E05) now have 1200 and 2400 Data Rate (bps) selections for the Serial I/O Port Mode. VersaMax CPU firmware revision 2.20 is required for the use of these new data rates. The 2.20 firmware upgrades are available on the VersaPro CD in the \VersaMax 2.20 UPGRADE directory and- at the GE Fanuc Technical Support web site at: http://www.gefanuc.com/support/plc/r-versamax.htm

Additional Series 90-30 CPU Firmware Support Lower revisions of PLC CPU firmware are now supported for the following Series 90-30 PLC CPUs:     IC693CPU311 (Version 4.40), IC693CPU313 (Version 4.40), and IC693CPU323 (Version 4.40).

Software Upgrades

The user can order free IC641VSU300 (Upgrade kit) to upgrade VersaPro Version 2.03.
