New OPC Device Communication Servers

New OPC Device Communication Servers
GE Fanuc is pleased to announce the availability of five new OPC Servers - Mitsubishi FX Series Front Port, Modbus Plus, Siemens AS511, Siemens MPI, and Siemens TCP/IP. These new OPC Device Communication Servers are being sold to work with CIMPLICITY HMI Plant Edition or any other OPC based third party products. Please note that there is not a one to one features and functions match between the Mitsubishi and Modbus Plus OPC Servers and the HMI Device Communications Option modules
Mitsubishi FX Series Front Port OPC Server
CIMPLICITY Mitsubishi FX Series Front Port OPC Server provides communication to Mitsubishi MELSEC FX-Series PLCs over a serial link.?One to one serial communication is performed to a FX-Series PLC through its front programming port.
Modbus Plus OPC Server
CIMPLICITY Modbus Plus OPC Server provides communication to Modicon devices over the high speed Modbus Plus network. The communications supports the use of bridges and multiplexors.
Siemens AS511 OPC Server
CIMPLICITY Siemens AS511 OPC Server provides communication to Siemens S5 PLC over a serial link. One to one serial communication is performed to the PLC through the programming port.
Siemens MPI OPC Server
CIMPLICITY Siemens MPI OPC Server provides communication to Siemens S7 PLC over a serial link using the MPI protocol. This protocol allows communication with multiple PLC.
Siemens TCP/IP OPC Server
CIMPLICITY Siemens TCP/IP OPC Server provides communication to Siemens S5 and S7 PLC through connected Ethernet Modules over an Ethernet LAN using the TCP/IP protocol. This server uses the Siemens Fetch/Write protocol.
Please be careful to select the correct product for your application. GE Fanuc does not accept software returns.
