CPU374 with High Capacity Battery
Great news! The CPU374 will start shipping this week.

One thing that should take into consideration is the external battery.  As documented the built-in battery in CPU374 will last for 1.2 months during power down.  We would strongly suggest that for any oversea project that requires more than 1-month shipping/delivery, to order the IC693ACC302 extended battery pack for back up of continuous power loss.  Also remember that the high capacity power supplies are also required.

IC693ACC302 - High Capacity Battery Backup to Protects Uptime

When memory is corrupted during a power outage or scheduled shutdown from a depleted battery, labor costs, lost data and machine downtime are all factors to consider. Currently, the Series 90-30 battery protects for six months of continuous power loss. But, a new Auxiliary Battery Pack (IC693ACC302) will enable CPUs to go up to 75 months (shelf life of 10 years) of RAM memory backup with no power. The new battery pack reduces the risk of lost data and program.

The battery pack, with two lithium cells, is an externally mounted sealed enclosure with a two-foot cable. The cable can easily be attached to any Series 90-30 power supply or Series 90-70 CPU
