VersaMax High Density Analog I/O Compatibility Update
In June 2001 GE Fanuc introduced 6 new High Density Analog I/O modules for VersaMax I/O.  At the time of release the modules were not yet supported by the VersaMax Genius, DeviceNet, and Profibus NIU's. This support was planned to be included in release v2.1 VersaMax NIU firmware.  The Genius NIU firmware version 2.1 was released in August, but contrary to original plans, did not include support for VersaMax High Density Analogs.  These NIU's will support the High Density Analogs in the future.  Currently the modules are only supported by the VersaMax CPU's and the VersaMax Ethernet NIU.
