Due to the lack of parts availability, continuous design changes, and the inability to provide adequate support, the PocketView Handheld PC product is being discontinued, effective immediately. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a replacement due to nature of this product.

HP discontinued the HP Jornada 680 that it was qualified on and their new version does not run the thin client software that we need to load on it. Therefore if the customer purchases the latest HP Jornada it will not work with the software.

The ThinView software has not been discontinued. It is still used for TabletView.

We recommend that all customers who are currently using the PocketView Handheld PC product are informed of the announcement.

Consistent with our Product Life Cycle Policy, GE Fanuc will continue to support the software component of the PocketView products through a hotline service.
