CARE of the Month - CSE Technology
In August 2000, we have appointed CSE Technology as CARE participant in Australia. This program is to reinforce the relationship between System Integrators with GE Fanuc. We believe this program will create a consistent identity of GE Fanuc System Integrators in Asia Pacific.
This month we have selected CSE Technology as CARE of the Month. If you wish to become "CARE of the Month" for the next issue, please drop me an email.
CSE Technology Corporate Profile
CSE Technology designs effective automation and IT management systems to help you capture and utilise your information efficiently — systems that are directly tailored to your needs.
The company is staffed by a team of professional engineers who appreciate that there is one problem that bridges all sectors of the manufacturing industry. They know that bad information be it wrong, late or insufficient — is positively poisonous. It can infiltrate your entire operation, costing you precious time and money. So CSE Technology specialises in enterprise-wide software solutions, delivering integrated systems that will enable you to capture and share your information and knowledge throughout your organisation. This helps you to harness your competitive edge.
It is now possible to connect all of your equipment controllers for machine tools, robots, AGVs, automated warehouse equipment, PLCs and SCADA systems with non-factory floor systems such as MRP, scheduling, financial and administration systems. Although there is no widely accepted standard for communication between various items of shop floor equipment, CSE Technology can make incompatible equipment speak the same language. This reduces the incidence of lost, inconsistent or inaccurate data and eliminates costly manual systems.
Everyone knows that informed decisions are better decisions. CSE Technology can help you give your employees more power, increasing productivity through increased efficiency. A good, integrated factory management system will benefit your business through better capture and processing if information. Scheduling, co-ordination, inventory and factory production information can immediately be made available to your staff. Supervisors and management will benefit from getting improved production feedback, such as alarm and status information and efficiency reports from machinery.
CSE Technology has worked with a diverse range of clients in the steel, paper, chemical, dairy, food and manufacturing industries in Australia, Japan, USA, New Zealand and South East Asia. The company has undertaken projects on a diverse range of platforms including DOS, Windows, Windows NT, UNIX, QNX, VMS and OS/2, and has considerable experience in the design and implementation of LANS and WANs in industrial environments.
When you enlist CSE Technology's help you are getting expertise and experience — not just in software skills — but in plant understanding. CSE Technology's representatives specialise in the big picture and are experts in the field of integrated systems that will serve the needs of the organisation as a whole.
Call them at the planning stage and they can help you refine and map your horizontal and vertical information needs. CSE Technology cares only that the end product serves you well, so they will pull together tools from a variety of sources. The company has no allegiance to specific suppliers of off-the-shelf packages, and can therefore offer independent and unbiased advice on proprietary products, as well as custom designed industrial control and factory management information systems.
CSE Technology acknowledges that every client is unique - problems are diverse and many are company or product specific. However the solution is the same. Machines and people together in one enterprise, speaking one language —yours. CSE Technology can make this a reality, giving you a competitive edge
