The CPU374 will start shipping this week. We would strongly suggest that for any oversea project that requires more than 1-month shipping/delivery, to order the IC693ACC302 extended battery pack for back up of continuous power loss.

Modbus TCP Protocol added to 90-30 Ethernet Interface

The Series 90-30 Ethernet Interface (IC693CMM321) is being enhanced with the addition of Modbus TCP protocol. Both Client (Master) and Server (Slave) capabilities are being added. The new version is expected to be available (as a firmware upgrade) in the second half of June, shipment of new units is expected in early July. The price of the IC693CMM321 will not be affected.

New Analog Expansion Units and 28 Point Discrete Expansion Units

GE Fanuc's new VersaMax Micro expansion units expand application solutions, reduce panel space, and lower cost. VersaMax Micro expansions units are now available with 28-point discrete I/O and an anlog expansion unit with four in and two out. Benefits of the new units include allowing the user to optimize size and minimize cost.

New VersaMax Nano with Analog Input Channel

GE Fanuc's new VersaMax Nano is now available with an analog input channel. The nano is ideal for applications such as monitoring systems, air handlers, test equipment and other applications requiring small amounts of I/O. The new VersaMax Nanos come in either 12VDC or 24VDC control with relay outputs. The new units optimize size and minimize cost.

GE Fanuc is pleased to announce the availability of five new OPC Servers - Mitsubishi FX Series Front Port, Modbus Plus, Siemens AS511, Siemens MPI, and Siemens TCP/IP. These new OPC Device Communication Servers are being sold to work with CIMPLICITY HMI Plant Edition or any other OPC based third party products. Please note that there is not a one to one features and functions match between the Mitsubishi and Modbus Plus OPC Servers and the HMI Device Communications Option modules
