PACSystems™ New 3.5 Firmware Release is Loaded with New Features
Including Function Block Programming and Full Symbolic Support

GE Fanuc is excited to tell you about all the new features in firmware release 3.5. This release is loaded with productivity enhancements such as Function Block programming and full Symbolic support for both programming and configuration. There are also new RX3i I/O modules to reduce customer hardware cost such as high density AC I/O, HART analog modules and DeviceNet Master module support.

Announcing the Release of Proficy™ Machine Edition 5.50
New Functionality and Productivity Features

Proficy Machine Edition 5.50 supports GE Fanuc's PACSystems firmware version 3.50 that includes new functionality such as Function Block Diagram (FBD) programming, as well as several other productivity features.

All Machine Edition components are integrated in a common development environment, may use a single project database, provide a set of standard tools and provide drag-and-drop editing between the components.

New VersaMax Micro 3.5 Firmware Provides Key Features
GE Fanuc is proud to release 3.5 firmware release for the VersaMax Micros. Some of the key features include writing and reading data to internal Flash, Ramping commands for the Micro 64, and enhanced serial communications options for the Micro 23 and Micro 28.

New High Performance Analog I/O for RX3i with Advanced Diagnostics

Four new analog modules provide you with high performance and advanced diagnostics for your process applications. The new analog modules take advantage of the high performance RX3i PCI bus.

New High Performance HART Analog I/O for RX3i with Advanced Diagnostics

GE Fanuc's three new analog modules will provide customers with high performance and advanced diagnostics for your process applications. The new analog modules have integrated HART modems. The HART analog modules enable the RX3i to easily connect to mass flow meters, valves and other HART enabled devices (point to point).

New RX3i Multipurpose Power Supplies
We would like to introduce our new AC and DC Multipurpose Power Supplies to you. Multipurpose Power Supply (AC-IC695PSA140 and DC-IC695PSD040) are suitable for use in load-sharing and redundancy application. It must be installed in a PACsystems RX3i (IC695 catalog number) Universal Backplane and can be used as the only power supply in the backplane or combined with up to three additional Multipurpose Power Supplies.

New RX3i 32-point AC Input and 16-point AC Isolated I/O

GE Fanuc is releasing three new RX3i AC I/O modules that will greatly decrease your installation hardware cost. The modules use a high-density removable terminal block and the RX3i high-speed serial bus. They can be installed in the main base or expansion base.

▪ 120VAC 16-Point Isolated Input
▪ 120/240VAC 16-Point Isolated Output.
