The new high performance VersaMax Micro Controller, with ESCP (Electronic Short Circuit Protection) Outputs, is ideal for applications requiring high speed processing and minimal downtime. The ESCP technology provides protection when an output is shorted. The ESCP reacts more quickly than a conventional fuse to detect shorts, and it will self-heal when the short is removed. The result is lower installation cost and reduced downtime because no external fusing is required for the outputs.
