The new line of High Current Output (HCO) VersaMax Micro Controllers are ideal for applications that have small motors, valves and lighting control. These new HCOs help to reduce hardware costs and panel space. Rugged construction makes it suitable for difficult applications.

Each HCO CPU and expansion unit comes with two 10-amp relay outputs, and the remaining relay outputs are rated at 2 amps. VersaMax Micros will accommodate up to four HCO expansion units for a total of eight 10-amp loads without the need for interposing relays. The VersaMax Micro supports up to 84 I/O.

In addition to the HCO expansion unit, the VersaMax Micro supports other expansion units with a wide variety of voltages, 12VDC, 24VDC and AC I/O. The VersaMax CPU comes with a powerful instruction set including Floating Point Math, PID, Subroutines, Serial Read/Write and much more.

Application Benefits:

· High Current Outputs (10-amp) reduce additional hardware requirements for driving motors, pumps and lighting control.

· The wide range of communications options make the VersaMax Micro PLCs ideal for SCADA, Modem, Pager, Bar Code Readers, and other serial devices.

· The rugged construction and the electrical and vibration standards designed into the product make it suitable for difficult applications.

· Programming, troubleshooting and monitoring can be accomplished over modems, multi-drop RS-485 or over Ethernet.

· Applications such as pumps, water levels, speed control, and process control are easily handled by the powerful instruction set that includes PID, Floating Point Math and Subroutines.

· Panel layout is easy using the VersaMax Micro I/O expansion units. Connection cables come in 0.1, 0.5 and 1 meter lengths and the total length from PLC to last expansion unit is 2 meters.

· 22 different CPU units and 8 different types of expansion units make the VersaMax Micro and Nano controllers flexible and affordable for a variety of applications.
