GE Fanuc’s new CIMPLICITY TabletView is a bundled Windows CE tablet-style computer with an 8-inch diagonal screen, pre-installed CIMPLICITY industrial automation software, and a wireless Ethernet card. Using the latest Thin Client, wireless Ethernet technology, CIMPLICITY TabletView allows operators and managers to view real-time graphical automation screens from anywhere in a plant without additional screen configuration.

For convenient access, users can mount a TabletView docking station on a machine or process line to allow a stationary workstation to become mobile. By simply removing the TabletView from the docking station, users have the flexibility of moving around work centers while maintaining quick access to critical systems and processes. Mobile users can also enter process information, as the bi-directional information flow facilitated by the Ethernet card permits easy system interaction with unprecedented flexibility.
