Word has been leaking out about a terrific new product, VersaPoint, from GE Fanuc.   As the image illustrates, VersaPoint is a granular I/O product, allowing customers to buy just the I/O they need.  VersaPoint can be used with controllers from many manufacturers that support DeviceNet or Profibus-DP.
