pleased to introduce ten new SmartStackTM
I/O modules for the OCS family. The new modules range from high density I/O (32
points) to mixed I/O modules. The new modules include: 16 point and 32 point
12/24VDC input module, 16 point and 32 point 12/24VDC output module, 20 point Relay Output module, 8 channel Analog output module, mixed discrete and isolated
analog module. In addition there is a new temperature control module that
includes four RTD/Thermocouple inputs, two analog outputs, two relay outputs and
two DC outputs on one model.
The modular SmartStack I/O expansion system allows the flexibility of using digital, analog and specialty I/O boards. You can choose from various I/O combinations and stack up to four different I/O boards onto a single OCS station. Tightly integrated components eliminate slow serial links and provide better interaction of operator interface and PLC operations. And when used as distributed control, the OCS system improves response times by eliminating the need for time critical control functions to travel the network.
The initial release of these new modules will
have only CE approval. UL approval on these modules will be 8 weeks following CE
release. Cscape 4.5 is required for configuration of the above modules.
