GE Fanuc Training Services is positioning itself to offer "one stop shopping" for customers to fulfill their technical training needs. In addition to offering customized courses & curriculums, GE Fanuc now offers open-enrollment courses that go beyond GE Fanuc product training; covering complimentary technologies that are prevalent components of today’s automation solutions.

Visual Basic is a powerful desktop application tool that has gained wide acceptance in the industrial community as the application design language of choice. The Visual Basic Essentials course introduces students to the basic language and the tools necessary to design, program (including ActiveX objects), debug, and retrieve dB information. The 3-day Windows NTÔ and Networking Essentials course is designed as an introduction for students who need a foundation in current networking technology for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and the Internet. Finally, the new SQL Server Management course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server client/server database management system version 7.0. The student is exposed to basic and advanced elements of the application including; architecture, security, programming tools, transact statements, indexes and advanced query techniques.
