Currently, GE Fanuc offers three technical support options: Platinum, Gold
and Basic.
- Platinum support provides the highest priority, PIN enabled direct access
to GEF engineers during "normal" business hours and after hours
(24x7).
- Gold support provides priority same call access to engineers via call
triage during "normal" business hours and also provides after
hours support (24x7).
- Basic support provides access to GEF service engineers via call back.
In addition to priority phone support, Platinum and Gold packages also
include other benefits such as GE Fanuc’s InfoLink CD-ROM product
information library. InfoLink CD-ROM’s utilize hypertext technology to
link data electronically, allowing you to pinpoint information instantly. Gold
Support includes a current InfoLink set while Platinum Support includes
the InfoLink subscription service which automatically updates your
library whenever a new CD-ROM is issued. In addition to the InfoLink
subscription benefit, Platinum Support customers also receive:
- Additional hard-copies of the most popular product manuals
- Email newsletters to keep you informed with the latest technical &
support information
- Quarterly support teleconferences to discuss your specific call activity
and technical support needs
- Service discounts ranging from 5% - 50% on technical support assessments,
training and field service.
