The VersaMax CPU E05 is a new CPU for the VersaMax platform with built in Ethernet. In order to expedite availability of this exciting new CPU, GE Fanuc will release a version which will support 10 Mbps Half/Full Duplex Ethernet. This version will be followed by a version that supports 10/100 Mbps Half/Full Duplex Ethernet at a later date.

The target date for shipments of the 10 Mbps version of the VersaMax CPU E05 is mid January 2001.

A firm date for availability of the 10/100 Mbps version has not yet been established. It is expected that the 10/100 Mbps version will be available mid year 2001.
