At the N.C.C.C.F. 2003 Symposium, Dr. Larry Toy, President/C.E.O. of F.C.C.C., was awarded the Richard P. Codd Award, N.C.C.C.F.’s highest honor.

The Richard P. Codd Award is presented to a California community college foundation practitioner or volunteer who over the years has made outstanding contributions to ensure the future and success of the Network of California Community College Foundations. The award was named in honor of Richard P. Codd of the College of the Desert who was a founder and long time board member and promoter of N.C.C.C.F.

F.C.C.C. operates the largest higher education cooperative purchase consortium, collegebuys.org, with over 1800 colleges and universities. F.C.C.C. also operates schoolbuys.org, which serves 1,000+ California public K-12 districts. The Foundation for California Community Colleges is the official nonprofit auxiliary for the C.C.C. Board of Governors, Chancellor’s Office, and system of 108 colleges
