schoolbuys Intro 101 Web Seminar June 18 & 19
Exclusive Programs Now Available to Help K-12 Districts Run More Efficiently
www.schoolbuys.org
As the President/CEO of the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FCCC) for the past five years and a former President of the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, I also have been faced with the difficulties that go along with the current budget circumstances and scarce resources. I know that you are looking for ways to create operating efficiencies and for programs that can save money and help your district or school make better purchasing decisions. That’s why I am pleased to introduce you to our exclusive programs for the public K-12 sector in California.
FCCC is the official auxiliary foundation for the California Community Colleges system and is a public benefit non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.
Because the California Community Colleges work closely with California public K-12 districts, FCCC has from the outset specifically included California public K-12 districts and schools in most of our programs. To make sure you are aware of our programs, we are offering a special introductory web seminar, “Intro. to schoolbuys 101”, a 60 minute overview of the various resources and programs that are now available to you. I am hosting this special event via the Internet at 11am on June 18and 19. All you need to participate is an Internet connection and a phone line. Seating is limited, so please sign up at www.schoolbuys.org/intro101.asp. To make you aware of our programs we have also recently established a website at www.schoolbuys.org. At the website, you will find information on our programs and services such as our facilities programs. The goal of the facilities programs, including facility condition assessment, facilities volume purchasing and the required labor compliance monitoring programs is to help you spend your bond act and other capitol funds wisely. I hope you view FCCC as a trusted provider of services and take the opportunity to attend our web seminar or visit our new website. I am anticipating that we will build a long, positive relationship. Best Regards,
Larry Toy, Ph.D President/CEO Foundation for California Community Colleges P.S. – Don’t forget to sign up for the “Intro. to schoolbuys 101” Web Seminar on June 18 or June 19. Seating is limited. To sign up, go to www.schoolbuys.org/intro101.asp.
