by The Society For Nonprofit Organizations & Learning Institute
When it's time to evaluate a program or project, most managers begin by reviewing their original objectives. This approach has grave flaws. ePhilanthropy Foundation Ensures Continued Fulfillment of Mission
by ePhilanthropy Foundation
On November 1, 2007, the Board of Trustees and Ted Hart jointly announced Mr. Hart's immediate departure from his post as President and CEO of the ePhilanthropy Foundation (EPF).
"We are grateful for all of Ted's hard work over the years and his unfailing commitment to the EPF's mission", said Bob Carter, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of EPF. "We wish him well in all of his future endeavors."
At this time, a national search for a replacement President is not planned. Bob Carter, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, will retain the executive decision making responsibilities of the CEO and President positions, while operational responsibilities will be divided among existing headquarters staff. Katie Graybeal has been named Interim Director and will assume the day-to-day operational responsibilities of Mr. Hart's former position. Ms. Graybeal will continue to serve as the Marketing and Educational Manager responsible for the planning and execution of the 2008 ePhilanthropy Training Tour schedule. All tour dates will continue as planned.
A Transition Committee, made up of members of the Board of Trustees will ensure the continued fulfillment of the organization's mission. The Transition Committee is currently evaluating all of the avenues by which it can proceed against existing strategic plans for growth and expansion prior to making any substantive decisions regarding the organization's future. Additional news releases will be distributed as decisions are made by the committee.
Media inquiries, including requests for interviews with Board members and/or current staff, should continue to be directed to Joseph Ungoco, Public Relations Coordinator at jungoco@ephilathropy.org or 1.917.972.4266.
