by by Neil Anuskiewicz

Reminders are reminded that OPT-In or permission based email is required by the ePhilanthropy Code of Ethics, Section B4. http://ephilanthropy.org/ethiccenter

Sophisticated Technology Makes Integration of Online and Offline A Real Option
by Vinay Bhagat, Founder, Chairman & Chief Strategy Officer, Convio Inc.

Thirteen Experts Named ePhilanthropy Master Trainers (ePMT)
Congratulations To These Master Trainers!!
http://ephilanthropy.org/ePMT

The ePhilanthropy Foundation has named 13 fundraising professionals to join its program of online experts as new and renewing Master Trainers. ePhilanthropy is the global leader in providing training for nonprofit organizations for the ethical and efficient use of the Internet for philanthropic purposes through education and advocacy,

Master Trainers are chosen for their expertise in online philanthropy strategy and techniques and for their ability to effectively train others. To receive the designation, applicants must have at least three years experience in the use of the Internet for fundraising and five years in philanthropy. Applicants must also submit documentation showing they are able to educate others, this information is then reviewed by the ePhilanthropy Master Trainer Review Board, Chaired by Kristina Carlson, President of FundraisingINFO.com, which makes decisions regarding ePMT designation.

“The Internet is playing a greater role in every aspect of our lives, including philanthropy,” said Ted Hart, President and CEO of ePhilanthropy Foundation. “More and more nonprofit organizations are looking for practical information and training that’s based on true experience.”

The new and renewing ePMTs who join more than 40 master trainers already in the program are:

1.      Leanne Bergey, President and CEO, Verve Internet Solutions, Philadelphia, PA
