ADAPE Australasia Announces Endorsement of ePhilanthropy Code of Ethics
Representing Members In Australia, New Zealand and south-east Asia
http://www.adape.org.au/

ADAPE Australasia Inc representing members whose responsibilities include fundraising, alumni affairs, marketing and communications in the education sector, endorses the ePhilanthropy Code of Ethics as an appropriate and relevant guideline for Australasian practitioners.

"We acknowledge that the practice of using online facilities is rapidly gaining momentum in Australasia, providing another way for assisting existing and potential stakeholders to support their institutions. This Code encompasses privacy issues and requirements between the donor and the cause they support. It aligns with and adds dimension to our existing ADAPE Code of Conduct."

(Rob Tunchon, President ADAPE Australasia Inc)

Copies of the ePhilanthropy Code of Ethics are available in English, French and Spanish:

Those interested in adding their endorsement to the Code of Ethics are encouraged to online at:

http://www.independentsector.org/issues/...

The Checklist for Accountability, developed by the Independent Sector, outlines actions every charitable organization can take to strengthen transparency and accountability. Because creating an accountable organization is an ongoing process, board and staff members should review recommended practices regularly and adjust their rules, methods and communications as needed. The steps listed in the Checklist will help every charitable organization reassure its stakeholders of its commitment to upholding the public trust vital to earning support and fulfilling its mission.

Bring the best-of-the-best ePhilanthropy trainers to your community
http://www.ephilanthropy.org/etour_sched...

As our ePhilanthropy Master Trainers (ePMTs) begin preparations for the 2006 Nonprofit Internet Strategies eTour, we need your help to identify the cities where they will present the latest information on developing and implementing effective and efficient online philanthropic campaigns.

Site hosts connect the ePhilanthropy Foundation to the nonprofit network in their local community and help us tell others about our best-in-the-industry training. Site hosts select the eTour venue and, most importantly, get the word out about their eTour stop to friends and colleagues in the nonprofit community.

New content for the 2006 eTour is currently being prepared by individual ePhilanthropy Master Trainers, and, each year, more of the world’s best trainers meet the ePhilanthropy Foundation’s rigorous accreditation standards and add their expertise as ePMTs to the pool of talent that provides eTour educators.

Contact Kelli Hoffman now at 877-536-1245, ext. 4, or by email at khoffman@ephilanthropy.org if you would like to become part of the world’s most current and comprehensive ePhilanthropy training.
