IRS To Allow Email Acknowledgment of Charitable Gifts

Publication 1771 - Charitable Contributions - Substantiation and Disclosure Requirements explains the federal law for organizations such as charities and churches who receive tax-deductible charitable contributions and for taxpayers who make contributions.

Available at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-utl/pub1771.pdf

This publication states, "An organization can provide

Stanford University presents
Best Practices in Web Publishing:
A Stanford Workshop for Nonprofits

Monday and Tuesday, May 20-21, 2002
in Washington, DC

Is your website serving your members well? Are you running it cost-effectively? Have you "webified" your content? Is your staffing organized properly? Are you outsourcing the right parts of your site? This intense, two-day workshop is aimed at professionals who make decisions on the mission, content and overall design of their websites.

**Special feature: during the workshop your website will be critiqued by a small group of your peers working under the direction of content and design specialists.**
