The African Well Fund (AWF) raises funds for the construction and maintenance of clean water wells in Africa.

 

American Society to Prevent Cruelty to Animals

In the 60 days following Hurricane Katrina in late summer of 2005, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) developed and waged an Internet campaign that generated more than $6 million online; the campaign by this leading animal welfare group is a template for virtually all nonprofits on how to effectively use the Internet to strengthen relationships with constituents and drive critical fundraising when breaking developments – such as a natural disaster – create unexpected needs.

 

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

The mission of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) is to provide expert, compassionate care to children and adults with cancer, while advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure, and prevention of cancer and related diseases

 

GreaterGood South Africa Trust

The Make Christmas Matter campaign was launched in November 2005. This campaign made use of a highly engaging interactive “wish upon a star” website – a first in South Africa. A total of 17 corporates, 56 families and 1100 individuals allocated part of their Christmas budget to the campaign, “purchasing” virtual Christmas trees and sendin e-cards to friends, family, clients, staff and other stakeholders. More than 165,000 individuals visited the site and the campaign raised more than R265,000.

 

HelpArgentina

HelpArgentina´s paradigm depends on the efficient and innovative use of technology to achieve its social objective— promoting philanthropy among dispersed small and medium-sized donor networks.

 

I Do Foundation

As the provider of the most comprehensive source of "charitable wedding" programs on the web, the I Do Foundation is creating ways to transform wedding consumers into donors.

 

Mama Cash

Mama Cash is a women's fund which finances projects conceived by women; strong women who set an example for others, who know first-hand experience that it is possible to turn the tide if women know their rights and claim them. Mama Cash is convinced that social change starts with women.

 

Modest Needs

The Alliance for International Women’s Rights is a New York-based, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that is devoted to supporting international women’s rights efforts by creating connections between women’s rights organizations in developing countries (with an initial focus on the Central Asia region) and professionals who would like to use their skills and experience to directly further women’s rights.

 

American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization.

 

Caty Jirik, Director - Greater Twin Cities United Way 2-1-1

Caty Jirik, holds a Masters in Social Work and is Director of Greater Twin Cities United Way 2-1-1, one of the most prestigious and oldest call centers in the United States.

 

CoAbode

The only organization of its kind in the nation, CoAbode uses web based technology to connect single mothers for house sharing and provide reciprocal support.

 

Do It Day (GreaterGood South Africa Trust)
