Foundation Announces Code of Ethics Enforcement Policy

In our continuing efforts to promote high ethical standards in online fundraising and contributions with the charity of their choice the ePhilanthropy Code of Ethics continues to serve as the nonprofit guide for all who share this goal. We also encourage donors to be aware of internet fundraising that falls outside the scope of the Code by offering them our Donor Tips for Online Giving.

Have you endorsed the Code? Currently 49 organizations from around the world have signed the petition to publicly show their endorsement of ethical practices. Those who have signed are encouraged to display the endorsement logo on their website (available at http://ephilanthropy.org/ethicscenter)

The ePhilanthropy Foundation Board of Trustees has unveiled its formal enforcement policy for those who endorse the code. Read more about it here. Should you have any concerns about someone's ethical online practices, please visit our Ethics Center, and fill out our online form for questions or concerns.

Together we can continue to keep the Internet an inviting place for donors and supporters of charitable causes!
