September 11, 2001 was a day of unspeakable tragedy that changed the face of ePhilanthropy. Around the world donors turned to the Internet to learn and support in unprecedented numbers. From 9-11 to Katrina every time people are in need, those who care go to the Internet and give. Since that time the ePhilanthropy Foundation has become the global leader in providing training to charities for the ethical and efficient use of the Internet for philanthropic purposes through education and advocacy.

NYCremembers.org seeks to observe 9/11 as a National Day of Voluntary Service.

One Day's Pay is the principal organizer of "NYC Remembers," the effort specific to the New York City region, to encourage New Yorkers to observe the week of September 11 each year through voluntary service and charitable activities.

One Day's Pay is supported privately through generous contributions made by founders, suppliers, individuals, corporations, foundations and other funding organizations. The organization received Federal and State of California approval of its tax-exempt 501c3 applications in 2003, and has applied for tax-exempt status in the State of New York.
