The ePhilanthropy Foundation's Board of Trustees recently approved an addition to the Code of Ethical Online Philanthropic Practices.

Section C of the Code now includes the concluding paragraph: "Include online and offline contact information." This reflects the Foundation's position that online supporters, visitors and donors should be able to contact the charity or organization using both online and offline methods.

The change has been posted online and the document is available for download in English, French and Spanish at http://www.ephilanthropy.org/ethics .

The Code is offered as a guide to those who wish to promote high ethical standards in online fundraising and build trust among those who make online charitable contributions.

The Code of Ethical Online Philanthropic Practices has been endorsed to date by 32 organizations from the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
