Join Us In The Netherlands at the IFC 24th International Fundraising Congress
Renowned as the World’s Leading Conference for Fundraising Professionals
www.resource-alliance.org

The 24th International Fundraising Congress (IFC) is taking place 12-15 October 2004 at the NH Leeuwenhorst Hotel, the Netherlands.

The IFC is organised by the Resource Alliance and is renowned as the world’s leading conference for fundraising professionals. It regularly attracts over 800 attendees from 50-60 countries worldwide and in recent years, 40% of attendees have been of CEO and Director-level.

From the careful selection of the speakers to the identification of the 'hot topics' affecting the sector, the IFC has become synonymous with high standards in fundraising expertise. This year’s programme features 60 world-class speakers and practitioners who will lead over 100 cutting-edge sessions ranging from in-depth Master Classes and workshops to lively panel sessions and debates.

The theme for the 24th IFC is ‘reaching new heights in fundraising’ and this theme is reflected throughout the programme from the opening plenary to individual sessions. Simon Collings, CEO of the Resource Alliance comments: ‘We want to make delegates think more radically about how they fundraise and how they communicate their cause to key stakeholders. We are confident that this year’s programme will help them reach new levels of success and achievement.’

Delegates can choose to attend the IFC for either three or four days. The full programme and booking information is now online, at: www.resource-alliance.org

CONTINUES.

Programme highlights:

·        INGO Focus - a new range of sessions addressing critical issues for INGOs such as International marketing strategy, new market entry opportunities, cross-border fundraising and the challenges facing regional directors in setting up and managing national offices.

·        CEO Focus - the IFC will be offering more sessions for CEO's with a Master Class on the governance of fundraising and an exploratory session looking at the working relationships of CEO's and Fundraising Directors.

·        3 new case study-based workshops featuring the Dutch Heart Foundation, Action Aid and the Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights

·        The Closing Plenary will be presented by Dr Mechai Viravaidya, the founder and Chairman of the Population and Community Development Association (PDA), one of Thailand’s largest private, non-profit development organisations.  Dr Mechai will present an insightful plenary on how NGOs can diversify their sources of funding through engaging in business activities.

Group booking discounts are available and if delegates book before 11th June 2004 they can also benefit from a discount of £50.
