Development Professionals
The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston is looking for experienced Development Professionals. The goal of these positions is to create relationships with alumni, friends and volunteers and to increase philanthropic support for the University. Development officers are responsible for representing the University in a variety of settings, involving a diverse group of community and alumni leaders. Most importantly, these positions are responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting leadership level gifts.
A Bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and 3-5 years of related experience in a university environment with an emphasis on fund raising are required. Experience in a university environment or an academic medical center is preferred.
