Washington, DC— Giving USA, the AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy, and the ePhilanthropy Foundation are undertaking the first national attempt at contacting organizations to collect data on ePhilanthropy through an internet survey. The survey seeks to measure Internet-based fund raising by asking U.S. nonprofit professionals to go on-line to answer 19 questions relating to their use of the Internet in raising funds, attracting new donors, and building and strengthening relationships with current donors.
Nonprofit professionals around the country at large and small organizations alike are being asked to share their successes and their failures in the area of ePhilanthropy. It is only through sharing experiences and knowledge that the sector can begin to get a handle on the beginning realities of this new frontier.
Giving USA, the AAFRC Trust for Philanthropy, and the ePhilanthropy Foundation are asking organizations to take 5 minutes and participate in this groundbreaking survey. The deadline for submitting data is March 21st.
