Foundation Supports e-Philanthropy Conference

ePhilanthropyFoundation.org is pleased to announce that it has joined the planning committee of "From a Connected World to an Engaged World"---the 4th Annual e-Philanthropy Conference.  The conference, which will be held March 9 and 10 in the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area, will bring together leaders from nonprofits, foundations, corporate giving programs, donor advised funds, technology and the policy arena for two days of high-level dialogue and interaction about online engagement issues.

To maximize collaboration and bring together the diverse stakeholders involved with online engagement, the e-Philanthropy conference has joined together this year with the United Way of America’s 3rd Annual eBusiness and United Ways Forum becoming the actual program for the first two days of this three day United Way event. In addition, N-TEN and the TechFunders Collaborative have joined as planning partners for the conference; participants in N-TEN’s Roundup and the TechFunders Collaborative Summit will also attend sessions during the e-Philanthropy conference.

The conference will include a dynamic mix of breakout sessions and addresses by visionaries including Jeremy Rifkin, President of the Foundation on Economic Trends and the author of sixteen books on the impact of scientific and technological changes on the economy, the workforce, society, and the environment, and Brian Gallagher, President and CEO of United Way of America.
