Blackbaud Launches Free Self-Service Nonprofit Career Site
Free online resource links nonprofits and job seekers

Blackbaud has announced the launch of the "Jobs at Nonprofits Career Site," a free online resource that enables nonprofits to easily share news of job openings - and job seekers to research available opportunities. About 100 openings are already posted on the new site, ranging from executive to administrative positions in a wide variety of functional areas.

"Whether you're in the for profit or nonprofit sector, people are an organization's most valuable resource," said Robert J. Sywolski, CEO of Blackbaud, Inc. "We designed this free self-service site to help organizations reach out to people eager to lend their talents to the nonprofit community."

The site also provide summary information on nonprofits for those applicants who are new to the sector.

Nonprofit professionals interested in posting positions to the site should visit http://www.jobsatnonprofits.com/ and click on "Post a Job." The site will prompt you through a log-in process, which sets up a password for easy access on repeat visits. Once you are logged in, all it takes to post a position is to fill out a simple online form. Postings are instantly available. Once the position is filled, you can simply log back into the site and delete the posting.

Nonprofits of all kinds, regardless of whether they use Blackbaud's products or services, are invited to share in this free resource.

Potential applicants can search the available postings by category, geographic location and key word. From there, applicants contact the organizations of interest directly, thus maintaining the confidentiality of their search. Blackbaud stays behind the scenes, providing technical maintenance of the site.

Blackbaud President Bob Sywolski serves as a Trustee of the ePhilanthropy Foundation.org
