Installer, Level 1
Prerequisites: None. Recommend attendance at BICSI Installer, Level 1 training program (IN100) and/or independent study of BICSI’s Telecommunications Cabling Installation Manual (TCIM). Keep up with innovations, trends, and emerging technologies. Broaden your knowledge and sharpen your skills for greater success with this five-day, 40-hour course tailored to the needs of cabling installers who want to stay abreast of the latest installation practices and standards. Applicants must pass the written and all portions of the hands-on performance exams. About the Exam Process: Exam application form and fees must be received by PCC Network Solutions for processing at least two weeks prior to the exam date. All students are also required to purchase the BICSI Information Transport Systems Installation Manual (ITSIM), fourth edition, before attending class.
Installer, Level 2
Prerequisites: The applicant must have at least two years of data, video, or voice premises cabling installation experience. Join the elite group who has completed this high level of skills training. Expand your knowledge and get ahead in the telecommunications industry. This five-day, 40 hour course is the most advanced phase of BICSI’s Telecommunications Cabling Installation Training Program. Applicants must pass the written exam and all portions of the hands-on performance exams. Technician
