Chamber re-brands Coffee with Consuls series to reflect program expansion

The Chamber's Coffee with the Consuls series has been re-branded at Dialogue with Diplomats.  This new title reflects the growth of international programming at the Chamber and the increase in the number of high-level foreign dignitaries working with businesses in DFW.

On Friday, October 13, the International Business Development department will launch the new name at its breakfast with the Indian Ambassador to the U.S., His Excellency Ronen Sen.

The series will continue with “Dialogue with the Diplomats: Italy” on October 26.  The Chamber will host the His Excellency Cristiano Maggipinto, HM Consul-General of Italy Consulate-General Texas, and Mr. Leopoldo Sposato of the Italian Trade Commission. The two speakers will speak on potential business development opportunities in Italy, and will be available for comment and consultation during the event.

The special presentation will take place at the Greater Dallas Chamber's Conference Center, 12th Floor of Garage Tower, 700 N. Pearl St., Dallas. Tickets ($15 for members and $25 for the general public) are available at www.dallaschamber.org/international or by calling 214-712-1930.

The series, which has grown to include other diplomats from DFW’s top trading partners, rather than just Consuls General, provides insights on opportunities for U.S. businesses to develop stronger relationships with emerging industries abroad.

Diplomats in Dallas/Fort Worth are quickly recognizing the series as a key component in their efforts to cultivate important business relationships. Countries that have asked to be included in this year’s exciting lineup include Mexico, Canada, Japan, Korea, Italy and Hungary.
