If you’re in the market for a minivan, the all-new Chrysler Pacifica is arguably the best choice in the segment and it has the awards to back it up.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is the new kid on the block but it’s built on over 30 years of minivan expertise with 115 minivan innovations and nearly 40 minivan firsts. It should come as no surprise that it’s quickly become #1 in the Minivan segment from US News and World Report.
Arguable the biggest designation the Pacifica received was the designation of “Best Minivan of 2016” in the Cars.com “Ultimate Minivan Challenge” where it beat out the Toyota Sienna and last year’s winner, the Kia Sedona.
“The Chrysler Pacifica out-styles, out-drives and just plain out-wows the rest of the pack,” said Patrick Olsen, Cars.com editor-in-chief. “It is a true joy to drive; something not often used to describe a minivan. Behind the engine, the van is versatile and packed with impressive family-friendly features.”
Speaking to its attainable asking price of $28,595 and impressive value, the editors of Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com honored the Pacifica with a 2017 “Best Buy Award”. “Chrysler’s all-new Pacifica minivan doesn’t just replace the long-running Town & Country, it blends luxury and practicality like no other minivan before it,” said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.
That’s on top of “Minivan and Family Vehicle Best Buy Awards” from Consumer Guide® Automotive, and "Best Car to Buy" and "Best Family Vehicle to Buy" awards from the editors of the Car Connection, where it also earned "Best New Family Car" from the readers.
The interior also helps the Pacifica stand out, and the editors at WardsAuto gave it a spot on their first “10 Best User Experiences List for 2016”. Connectivity, infotainment, driver assistance technology, sound systems, user-friendliness and materials were all considered and out of nearly 30 vehicles, the Pacifica stood out among the top 10.
The Pacifica also takes fuel efficiency to new heights with the release of the Pacifica Hybrid, able to achieve up to 84 MPGe. It received the top score of 10 from the EPA’s Green Vehicle Guide – the first time a minivan has achieved the honor.
