Vehicle Details: 2015 Chrysler 300 Changes
Evolving the big, bold American sedan

The Chrysler 300 has achieved its wild popularity through an ambitious and well-executed blend of style, quality, performance, fuel economy and innovation. The 2015 300, available here at Perkins Motors in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is inspired by both the 1955 and 2005 300 models, and it showcases six-decades of Chrysler excellence at an identical price as the outgoing model.
Offering new features and amenities, the new 2015 Chrysler 300 starts at an MSRP of $31,395, the same MSRP as the 2014 model. There are now four well-equipped 300 variants: 300 Limited, 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum. Highlights of the 2015 300 include a bolder front grille and LED lighting, new wheel designs and unique finishes. Inside, a full-color, seven-inch driver information display is standard, as are heated leather seats and a new three-spoke steering wheel with larger controls and available paddle sifters. The class-exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission is standard across the entire lineup, and it’s controlled by a class-exclusive electronic rotary transmission shifter. Additional safety features, as well as advanced technological solutions are included for 2015, too. The 2015 300 is the most well-equipped in the 60-year history of the 300 – quite a feat for a car that’s known for its immense luxury.
“Our new 2015 Chrysler 300 builds on its 60-year legacy of delivering world-class performance, elegance, sophistication, technology and craftsmanship – a combination that can only be found in our big, bold and proudly American rear-wheel-drive sedan," said Al Gardner, Chrysler brand president and CEO. "Beyond its head-turning iconic proportions and even more commanding Chrysler front-end and grille, our new 300 is designed to reward hard-working individuals by delivering class-exclusive technologies, premium appointments and levels of quality of sedans costing thousands more."
The 2015 Chrysler 300 offers two powerful and efficient engine choices. In fact, the 300 owns a slew of best-in-class designations, including V6 highway fuel economy, V6 driving range, and combined V6 fuel economy. The 24-valve Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 cranks out 300 hp and 264 lb/ft of torque, and it delivers an EPA-estimated 31 mpg highway.
Also available is a HEMI V8 that offers best-in-class driving range, up to six-percent better fuel economy, improved refinement and best-in-class V8 horsepower and torque, 363 and 394 lb/ft, respectively. Fuel Saver Technology with a four-cylinder mode helps the 2015 300 achieve an EPA-estimated 25 mpg highway. Another notable feature is the most technologically advanced all-wheel drive system in the segment. It includes a class-exclusive front axle disconnect and an active transfer case, and it provides optimal power, handling and fuel economy regardless of the conditions.
The various cabin design motifs offered in the 300 are named for the American cities that inspired them. For example La Jolla, California, features two-tone Linen and Indigo to reflect the sea-side city; Manhattan, New York, is black leather with Bright Chrome trim; Detroit, Michigan, features Black with Ambassador Blue Nappa leather and “industrious” Silver accent stitching; and Sausalito, California, is reflected in a zen-like two-tone Linen and Black interior.
The 300 features the most interior volume and rear-seat volume in its class, and fit and finish are like nothing else in the segment. Nappa leather, a console wrapped in Poltrona Frau premium leather, real wood, elegant chrome, and beautiful accent stitching reflect the attention to detail in the 2015 300. Wheels up to 20-inches are available, as well.
Another 300 hallmark is its advanced technology. The 2015 300 is the most technologically advanced vehicle in its class. One of its exclusive features is a Uconnect® infotainment system with the largest touch-screen display. Another is the available Uconnect® Access, with services that include Roadside Assistance, voice texting and even a Wi-Fi hotspot. Available audio systems include an 18-speaker harman/kardon system and a segment-excusive BeatsAudio system. Other standout features include the largest dual-pane sunroof available and illuminated cupholders with both heating and cooling functionality.
With more than 80 available safety and security features, the 2015 Chrysler 300 provides plenty of peace of mind. New features available for the 2015 300 include Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus with Full Stop, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, 911 Call/Assist Call, and full-speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus. A five-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty with Roadside Assistance is included, as well.
