Background:
100 Black Men of America is dedicated to the development of our youth through mentoring, education, health, wellness and economic development. The Orlando Chapter has adopted Jones High School to support in this national initiative. In doing so, an annual Scholarship Dinner is held and select Jones High School graduating seniors are awarded scholarships. Last year's event was a great success with five (5) students being awarded $5,000 each with the former U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young rendering the keynote address.

It is the intent of 100 Black Men of Orlando, Inc. to follow these students throughout their undergraduate careers making available scholarships each year for four (4) years, provided they maintain good academic status.
