Building on the success of JWI's First International Conference on Domestic Abuse in the Jewish Community, the Rockland County Shelter in partnership with Jewish Family Service held a conference on domestic abuse in Monsey, NY.
The conference, To Save a Life: Domestic Abuse in the Jewish Community - A Call to Action, was a forum to network and share information with activists, community workers and clergy. Over 100 participants, including members from all parts of the Rockland Jewish community, attended the conference. The conference featured highly respected national authority Rabbi Mark Dratch as keynote speaker.
Attending the conference, JWI’s Program Director Deborah Rosenbloom as well as several board members networked and disseminated JWI materials.
