Google Offers Free Service That Emails Your Research To You
http://www.googlealert.com/about.php

Google Alert runs daily personalized Google searches for you and emails you new results that appear. With its many useful features, Google Alert keeps you well informed, saving you time and helping you stay on top of your many interests. It makes staying up to date simple and easy!

Go deeper - Search depth
To find out more about your interests, Google Alert makes it easy to set the search depth -- the number of top results from Google that are tracked for each search -- up to 500 results per search for Professional users.

Be in control - Search frequency and time
You control how often your searches are run and how you would like your results delivered. Users of the advanced services can also choose what time of day to receive their results and to automatically send a copy of their alerts to additional recipients.

Target your searches - Advanced search
Google Alert provides easy access to Google's advanced search features to enable you to personalize and refine your searches. This includes targeting searches by domain, file format and part of page. Users of the advanced services can also target searches by language and country.

Personalize your searches - SightPoint
Google Alert's revolutionary SightPoint feature automatically learns which search results are most relevant for you. If SightPoint is switched on, your new search results are rated based on the results you have clicked on in the past. Users of the advanced services can also mark results as irrelevant and automatically have similar results filtered out in future.

Case-sensitive tracking - Search filtering
It is not currently possible to do case-sensitive or punctuation-sensitive searching on Google, but Google Alert lets you remove unwanted noise. You can filter out any results that don't match the exact case or punctuation of your search term.

Stay focused - Intelligent matching
Google's index can sometimes include multiple entries for similar results, leading to repeated alerts. Google Alert's uniquely optimized matching algorithm determines whether a search result has been seen before, minimizing the chances of seeing repeats.

Keep ahead - FreshSearch
Google Alert's unique FreshSearch technology ensures you only receive the freshest new information. FreshSearch automatically filters out search results that are more than a month old, even if they are new to Google. FreshSearch can be switched off for individual searches if required.

Save time - Rich alerts
Google Alert search updates can be sent in HTML format, so they include clickable links both to the original site and Google's cache.

Manage it all - Online browser
Google Alert lets you manage and organize all your previous and current results with the online browser. Results can be dynamically viewed and categorized by date and by search topic.

Alerts anywhere - RSS, HTML feeds
Google Alert provides RSS feeds for convenient access from desktop applications, and customizable HTML feeds for integration directly into web sites. Google Alert also supports TrackBack, allowing search results to be integrated into your blog.
