IMA Update

New Award
The IMA-developed Balanchine 100 mini-site has won yet another award – this time, a silver from the Summit Creative Awards. The Summit Creative Awards, celebrating its tenth year, was created to recognize exceptional work by marketing creative firms including advertising agencies, video production companies, multimedia firms and other creative groups. Entries in 17 creative categories are judged against a stringent set of standards. Judges looked for innovative and creative concepts, strong executions, and the ability to communicate and persuade. For more information, see our press release.

New Clients
IMA was engaged by three new clients this past month. We’re already deep in designs for Capezio Dance Factory Outlet, which specializes in selling Capezio brand dancewear and skatewear at deep discounts. In addition to giving their site a face lift, we’ll also be providing an on-line store for them.

IMA will also be working with two Morristown non-profits – helping the Morristown District School system revamp their site, and working with the Morris Museum to create a new look and feel, and feature their new collection of music boxes. Both these projects are scheduled to kick off later this month.

Len on the Move
For the 7th year running, Len Muscarella, president of IMA, hosted the annual EPpy awards. The EPpy Awards, which are now in their ninth year, identify and honor the best work in the Internet field by media outlets, including newspapers, radio, and broadcast/cable TV. EPpy winners were announced at the Interactive Media Conference and Trade Show, May 10-12, 2004 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on Peachtree Street. IMA's role was not only to emcee the event, but also to administer the nomination and judging process, using a public/private Web site created by the firm. See this site for more information on winners of the EPpy Awards.

Later this month, Len will speak at the Direct Marketing Association's (The DMA) 2004 DMD New York Conference & Expo on Tuesday, May 25, at 2:45 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. The topic of Len's session will be "Web Strategies: What Executives Must Know To Remain Competitive."

The DMD New York Conference & Expo is a forum for new ideas, technological advances, and cutting-edge information in e-commerce, technology, media, database, and creative services. The conference program is designed to educate and motivate business leaders in the use of direct/integrated marketing. For more information, see our press release.
